Paint the Town 3D shows Frank Ape mid-action, spray-painting a brick wall, rendered in acrylic and epoxy on wood panel rather than canvas. The epoxy is doing real work: it builds physical depth into the surface, so the scene reads as three-dimensional rather than flat, and the painted graffiti feels like it is still wet.

It is a direct homage to New York's graffiti culture and to the improvisational, public spirit that shaped Frank Ape as a character in the first place. At 20 by 16 inches, it is one of the more compact works in this collection, well suited to a wall that calls for energy rather than scale.
